Long-term AI/ML Senior Engineer opportunity .
1+ year contract role (long-term & renewable) ideal for candidates seeking career growth and exposure to cutting-edge AI/ML technologies.
This role is with one of the leading French global banks, with a strong presence in Singapore and IT hubs across Asia-Pacific. The bank is recognized for innovative digital banking solutions, enterprise modernization, and leveraging AI/ML to drive strategic advantage globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand use cases and define AI solutions; work on Proof of Concepts as required.
- Engineer and deploy ML models into production using MLOps best practices (model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD, etc.).
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ensure model performance for scalability and maintainability.
- Ensure all models adhere to organizational AI policies, responsible AI practices, and audit requirements.
- Support data exploration, feature engineering, and occasional model building.
- Automate model retraining, testing, and monitoring to ensure performance over time.
- Document ML workflows, governance checkpoints, and risk assessments.
- Partner with CloudOps, DevOps, IT, and security teams to integrate solutions into enterprise platforms.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, ML, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years in software development, data science, and ML, including 3+ years in AI engineering roles.
- Proven experience across the end-to-end ML lifecycle: data wrangling, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as Langchain, LangGraph, vLLM, or LMDeploy.
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases (Graph databases desirable).
- Experience with MLOps tools: MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) for AI solutioning and deployment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Exposure to Responsible AI frameworks and bias/fairness testing.
- Knowledge of feature stores, model registries, and data versioning.
- Awareness of data privacy, anonymization, and compliance in regulated industries.
