Role Overview
We are seeking a technical Product Manager to lead the development, delivery, and support of the Health Lifestyle App and Platform.
This role goes beyond traditional product management. It requires hands-on technical leadership, including architecture, engineering execution, and production support, while driving product outcomes and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Delivery Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned product modules, translating business needs into technical scope, milestones, and release plans
- Manage and prioritise backlog, dependencies, and release sequencing with clear trade-offs
- Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Technical Leadership
- Lead solution design and delivery with engineers and vendors, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
- Define architecture standards and review designs/code to ensure quality and alignment
- Prototype solutions to validate feasibility and reduce technical risks
Operations & Support
- Ensure platform availability, resiliency, and compliance with government security standards
- Define release readiness criteria and oversee deployment processes
- Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and post-incident improvements
Continuous Improvement
- Drive engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, DevOps, monitoring)
- Identify innovations and improvements to enhance product value
- Define and track KPIs (e.g., adoption, performance, reliability)
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate cross-functionally (UX, Data, Business teams)
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Review vendor solutions and manage outsourced delivery where applicable
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance delivery speed with long-term system quality
- Strong stakeholder communication, including translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and drive cross-functional alignment
Technical
- 5 years experience in software/application development or technical leadership
- 3 years hands-on development (Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar)
- Experience delivering at least one AI/GenAI project
- Proficiency in modern frameworks (React, Angular, Spring Boot, Django, etc.)
- Strong foundation in system design, architecture, and engineering best practices
- Experience with:Cloud platforms & DevOps (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) Databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, etc.) Cybersecurity and data compliance (especially in regulated environments)

Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
