We are seeking an experienced M&P Supervisor to support a major Plant Turnaround / Shutdown project. The successful candidate will supervise mechanical and piping activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical and piping technicians, craftsmen, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate daily turnaround activities and manpower deployment.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and safety requirements.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, piping installation, replacement, repairs, bolt tightening, flange management, and testing activities.
- Coordinate isolations, permit-to-work requirements, and work execution schedules.
- Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality.
- Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Liaise with operations, maintenance, inspection, and client representatives.
Requirements
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, or industrial plants.
- Must have completed at least 2-3 Plant Turnaround / Shutdown projects in a supervisory role.
- Experience supervising mechanical maintenance, static equipment, rotating equipment, piping systems, valves, heat exchangers, vessels, and related activities.
- Good understanding of PTW systems, flange management, hydrotesting, and industrial safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills.
