M&E Resident Technical Officer

Responsibilities:

. To provide supervision and co-ordination of all Mechanical & Electrical works carried out on site
. M&E works include Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection System, BMS, Sanitary and Sewerage works
. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Approved Plan / Working Drawings and comply to all relevant Local Codes and Regulations
. Ensure quality of works and materials comply with Contract Specification and Standard
. To provide and maintain provide site record of all inspections and installation carriedout on site
. To witness all testing and commissioning of works to ensure compliance to the Design Specification and Standard
. To monitor progress of works on site and submit weekly site progress report
. To attend site meetings and site walks with project team when required
. Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings) and highlight discrepancies
. Conversant in M&E design, specifications, site installation, services coordination,code of practice, Authority inspection and handing over
. Experience in co-ordination of structural and architectural works with M&E services

Requirements:

. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
. Accredited as a M&E Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES
. Minimum 5 years experience as M&E Resident Technical Officer
. Experience in supervision of M&E works for residential, industrial or commercial projects
. Familiar with local codes and regulations
. Possess certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course or other relevant Safety Supervision Course
. Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills
