About the Role
We are seeking motivated M&E Quantity Surveyors to join our team on a 3-year contract. This role is suitable for both experienced professionals and entry level candidates who are keen to build their career in quantity surveying and cost management within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Assess and identify Variation Order (VO) works for subcontract packages.
- Support the measurement and pricing of contract VO claims.
- Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
- Handle contract administration and maintain project documentation.
- Perform remeasurement for subcontractor payments and final account settlements.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgetary cost assessments.
- Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors on VO matters and progress claims.
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and organised project records and documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or M&E projects will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with quantity take-off and cost measurement software is preferred.
