Lead and manage all M&E Quantity Surveying matters for interior fit-out and renovation projects.
Handle the full spectrum of M&E QS duties from tender stage to final account, including:
quantity take-offs based on interior drawings
cost estimation and budgeting for M&E works (e.g. lighting, power, ACMV, plumbing)
preparation of bills of quantities
sourcing, evaluation and appointment of M&E subcontractors
Support procurement strategy for M&E packages and assist in tender documentation, tender calling, evaluation and recommendation.
Review and evaluate variation orders, assess cost implications, and manage change control for M&E works.
Prepare and monitor project cost reports, progress claims, and final accounts for M&E portions.
Work closely with designers, project managers and site team to provide cost advice and ensure M&E works are within budget and aligned with design intent.
Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on contractual and commercial matters related to M&E works.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out / renovation / building projects (M&E QS experience preferred).
Experience in project tendering, costing and subcontractor management for M&E works.
Good understanding of M&E systems in interior projects (e.g. lighting, power, ACMV, fire protection, plumbing).
Familiar with pre- and post-contract administration, including variations and final accounts.
Good knowledge of contract conditions and basic contractual procedures.
Able to work independently and as part of a project team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to liaise with designers, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
