Job description:
oversees the design, fabrication, installation, and testing of HVAC ductwork systems, primarily for construction or manufacturing projects. They ensure these systems comply with design specs, quality standards, and safety regulations while managing teams, schedules, and costs. Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Coordination: Assisting with the drafting of Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) ducting layouts and section details.
- Production & Fabrication: Managing the fabrication and installation of ducting, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Site Management: Coordinating with site engineers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage project execution.
- Quality & Safety Control: Ensuring all ducting work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Project Scheduling & Costing: Planning project phases, controlling costs, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience in ACMV design, piping systems, and ducting works.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding M&E layouts.
- Project Management: Ability to manage project timelines and resources.
