To coordinate M&E design matters with Consultants and Sub-contractors and to resolve any technical issues.
To prepare method statement, shop drawings, installation and T&C check list, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with the project team.
To establish the M&E work program based on the Master Program, and to ensure M&E works are carried out on timely manner.
To ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/design drawings.
To inform the M&E Manager of any technical / site problems pertaining to M&E works.
To liaise and hold meetings with M&E consultants on technical resolution and inspection.
To ensure the quality of works to be achieved and safety regulations are complied with.
To be responsible for general on-site technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
To prepare and compile the As-built document (Drawings, Handover Document, Inspection records etc) by working with the project team and subcons
Project planning, site investigation, preliminary design and cost estimation on mechanical and electrical works for the new tender project.
To prepare tender queries by studying the tender drawings and specifications.
To review and evaluate subcontractor's quotation and prices.
To create a Value Engineering and Cost Saving proposal to match the client's requirements.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical), Engineering (Mechanical) or Equivalent
At least 2 years of working experience in building construction for this position.
Familiar with construction site activities.
Basic computer skills for Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Hospital, Nursing home or Healthcare project experience.
Warehouse or Factory project experience.
Positive working attitude and ability to work in a team
Preference for working experiences overseas, such as in other South East Asia or Japan
