Position: M&E Engineer (6-Month Contract/ Construction / Cleanroom Projects)
Location: Mapletree Hi-Tech Park @ Kallang Way
Working hours: 5.5-day work week, office hours
Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6000
Duration: Employment Type: 6-month contract -Convertible to permanent employment or extendable based on work performance

Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate M&E works at site to support the timely delivery of cleanroom and specialist construction projects.
Review M&E drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions before work commencement.
Coordinate electrical, mechanical, fire protection, ACMV and other interfacing works with project teams, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project requirements and applicable regulations.
Identify site clashes, technical issues and construction constraints, and coordinate practical resolutions with relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and submit material submissions, shop drawings, method statements, work schedules and technical documents.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks on M&E installation works.
Track work progress, manpower, material delivery and subcontractor performance against project schedules.
Attend site meetings and provide technical updates, progress reports and follow-up actions.
Support testing, commissioning, inspection, handover and defect rectification activities.
Ensure site works are carried out safely and in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant M&E site-coordination or project-engineering experience in construction, fit-out, cleanroom, industrial or commercial projects.
Experience coordinating M&E interfaces with architectural, structural and specialist-trade works.
Able to read and interpret M&E drawings, technical specifications and construction programmes.
Familiar with technical-submission, shop-drawing, inspection, testing and commissioning processes.
Knowledge of site safety, quality-control and installation-compliance requirements.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office BIM knowledge is advantageous.
Organised, hands-on and able to manage site priorities under project deadlines.
Good communication skills with consultants, subcontractors, site teams and clients.
Able to travel to project sites when required.
