M&E Coordinator

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

1. To work and co-ordinate with design/construction teams for all M&E installation and system requirement matters

2. To attend E&M Co-ordination Meetings and write Minutes of Meeting

3. To co-ordinate with Civil/BIM teams & all SWC for station and viaduct CCSM/SEM drawings and submissions

4. Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings

5. Manage in-house E&M sub-contractors work to ensure shop drawing and services are well co-ordinated to suit sequence and installation

6. Supervise and lead an installation team on E&M services installation in construction environment

7. To check M&E drawings and highlight if there are discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural element

8. To prepare progress report

9. To coordinate between sub-contractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery of work including resolution of design and construction issues

10.Follow up on necessary rectification work & other follow up tasks

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized University.
2. At least with 3 years of relevant work experience in coordination of M&E works with different trades (e.g. C&S & Archi).
3. Understand contract requirement and M&E specification.
4. Understand BIM concept and be able to supervise and push for M&E works to be completed timely with relevant stakeholders.
5. Able to read and understand CAD, Revit/Navisworks software services in 3D model is essential
6. Able to manage and solve complex problems at site.
7. Understand all the essential code of practices and relevant authority requirements for submissions of documents and inspections.
8. Independent, self-motivated, proactive with a positive attitude
