Job Summary
You will lead the planning, coordination, and quality assurance of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to ensure compliance with project schedules and regulatory requirements. You will drive collaboration among sub-contractors and project teams to resolve design and construction challenges, delivering seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed M&E work schedules aligned with the project master schedule to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor and review shop drawings and material submissions to maintain project standards
- Verify M&E drawings for compliance with authorities requirements and identify discrepancies or conflicts with architectural and structural elements
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports to track project milestones and inform stakeholders
- Coordinate effectively between sub-contractors and project teams to resolve design and construction issues and ensure smooth workflow
- Oversee installation work to confirm adherence to coordinated plans and quality standards
- Conduct inspections and testing of building works, documenting inspection records for verification by RE/RTO
- Manage follow-up actions on rectification work and other outstanding tasks to maintain project integrity
- Ensure all sub-contractors submit drawings as per coordinated schedules and requirements
- Provide guidance and supervision to M&E supervisors on site to align work with project coordination
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Construction Industry
- Recognised Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
