Job Summary
You will prepare and monitor M&E work schedules and drawings, ensure compliance with authorities, coordinate sub-contractors and project teams, oversee installation and inspections, and manage rectification tasks to support smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare M&E work schedules aligned with the project master schedule to ensure timely progress
- Monitor and review shop drawings and material submissions for accuracy and completeness
- Verify M&E drawings comply with authorities requirements to maintain regulatory standards
- Identify and highlight discrepancies or conflicts between M&E drawings and architectural or structural elements to prevent design issues
- Prepare detailed progress reports to track project status and inform stakeholders
- Coordinate between sub-contractors and project teams to resolve design and construction issues and ensure smooth work delivery
- Monitor installation work to confirm adherence to coordinated plans and quality standards
- Conduct inspections and/or testing of building works, documenting inspection records for verification by RE/RTO
- Follow up on necessary rectification work and other related tasks to maintain project quality
- Ensure all sub-contractors submit drawings as per coordinated requirements to maintain project consistency
- Guide M&E supervisors on site to align work with coordinated plans and project objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry
- Recognised Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
