(A) Job Summary:
The Project M&E Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works for LTA projects. The role ensures M&E installations are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, LTA requirements, and project schedules while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise M&E works to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Coordinate with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on M&E design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and technical documents.
- Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works comply with project specifications, LTA requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate interface works between M&E, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
- Resolve technical issues, construction clashes, and site coordination matters.
- Supervise testing, commissioning, inspections, and system handover.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC, WSH, environmental, and project quality standards.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, as-built drawings, and project handover documents.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager.
(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination for LTA or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, testing and commissioning, and authority requirements.
- Familiar with LTA specifications Singapore Standards, and statutory regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
