M&E Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and construction schedules

• Work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve technical and coordination issues

• Review and manage shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions from M&E subcontractors

• Ensure proper integration of M&E services with architectural and structural works through effective site coordination

• Monitor progress of M&E works and ensure timely completion in accordance with project programme

• Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings with consultants and subcontractors

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, authority regulations, and safety standards

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and system handover to ensure smooth project completion

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in building construction projects

• Strong experience in site coordination of M&E services

• Experience in private residential or building projects will be an advantage

• Good understanding of M&E drawings, technical specifications, and site coordination requirements

• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to manage subcontractors effectively

• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently in a site environment
