M&E Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, technical documents, RFIs, and method statements

• Support the M&E Engineer in planning and sequencing works to prevent clashes and ensure smooth coordination with architectural and structural trades

• Review M&E drawings alongside other disciplines to identify discrepancies, clashes, and constructability concerns before execution

• Work closely with subcontractors to align material procurement, delivery schedules, and installation plans with project timelines

• Attend coordination, technical, and site meetings to track M&E issues and update stakeholders on progress and pending items

• Monitor on-site M&E progress and provide technical guidance to supervisors and subcontractor teams to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications

• Coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities, including planning, scheduling, and documentation tracking

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation such as drawings, RFIs, approvals, inspection records, T&C submissions, and as-built drawings

• Follow up on authority submission requirements (e.g., BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA) and assist in ensuring timely preparation and submission of documents

• Resolve coordination challenges by proposing technical solutions and clearly communicating decisions to all stakeholders

• Support QA/QC processes, including site inspections, material checks, and monitoring rectification of non-compliance issues

• Ensure site safety compliance by coordinating with the WSH team and enforcing adherence to risk assessments, safe work procedures, and permit-to-work systems

• Guide and mentor M&E Supervisors by clarifying technical requirements, reviewing inspections, and strengthening their coordination, documentation, and site management capabilities
