Well established M&E local company looking for a matured Individual to apply for the role of M&E Coordinator. This is a stressful role meant for someone who is detailed oriented and organised.
Responsibilities:
- M&E Handling: Manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, ensuring adherence to project timelines and technical standards.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients regarding ad-hoc work requests, project updates, and scheduling arrangements.
- Daily Briefings: Conduct daily toolbox meetings with technicians to issue and explain the day's work schedule and safety reminders.
- Quotation Management: Prepare and issue quotations for proposed works and follow up on project execution and completion.
- Schedule of Rates Handling: Interpret and apply schedule of rates accurately in quotations and project costing.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess requirements, check on progress, and ensure work quality.
- Meetings & Site Duties: Attend site meetings, coordinate with various stakeholders, and handle other tasks assigned by the site or project manager.
Background & Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar role with a strong background in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) works is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Candidates with basic technical knowledge are encouraged to apply further training will be provided where necessary.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients, technicians, and site personnel.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, schedule, and follow up on tasks to ensure timely and high-quality work completion.
- Documentation Proficiency: Familiarity with preparing quotations, reports, and using relevant tools/software for documentation and scheduling.
- On-site Readiness: Willingness to work on-site, attend inspections, and respond to operational needs as required.
