Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works across assigned construction projects
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams on M&E design, planning, and execution
  • Review and ensure compliance of M&E drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all works comply with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and liaise with clients and authorities where required
  • Manage M&E subcontractors performance, work schedules, and deliverables
  • Oversee testing & commissioning activities and ensure smooth project handover
  • Support cost control, budgeting, and variation claims related to M&E works
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project progress

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • More than 8 years of relevant experience M&E experience in construction with project management exposure
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction processes, and local authority requirements (e.g., BCA regulations)
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment
  • Experience in large-scale building projects (commercial, residential, industrial)
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination
  • Knowledge of Green Mark / sustainability requirements
