M&E manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all M&E works are completed on schedule and comply with relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety requirements

• Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors on M&E matters to ensure smooth and efficient project execution

• Lead and coordinate the site team, including M&E engineers, structural engineers, and architectural coordinators, to meet quality standards and project requirements

• Attend CCM site meetings and address technical issues promptly

• Ensure timely submission and approval of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements in line with the master schedule

• Supervise M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, materials, and methods

• Review M&E variation orders and report progress or issues to headquarters

• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshoot technical issues related to M&E systems

• Review technical specifications, drawings, and schematics to identify discrepancies, and raise RFIs or resolve issues with consultants and clients

• Organize and manage monthly M&E meetings, overseeing all related activities comprehensively

• Handle and resolve M&E issues during the Defects Liability Period (DLP)

• Participate in Design & Build (D&B) projects in collaboration with consultants and architects
