Role Description The M&E Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical and electrical building services for new and existing facilities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical drawings and specifications, conducting site inspections, and ensuring that installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and client requirements. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and facility management teams to resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and support building maintenance activities. The M&E Engineer will also assist with feasibility studies, technical reports, and cost estimates, as well as support project documentation and handover.
Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of M&E engineering, including design and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience in building services, covering HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and related building systems.
  • Familiarity with facility management (FM) and building maintenance practices to support lifecycle performance of assets.
  • Background in electrical engineering, with the ability to review and interpret electrical drawings, load calculations, and system layouts.
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
  • Understanding of Singapore building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prior experience in consultancy or construction projects in Singapore is an advantage.
