Brief Summary:
Join a dynamic team as an M&E Coordinator where you will lead critical coordination efforts to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with engineering standards. This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the coordination of Combined Services Drawings (CSD) for ACMV, Electrical, ELV, P&S, and Fire Protection trades, ensuring maintainability and operational compliance.
- Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications to identify clashes and coordination gaps.
- Collaborate with drafting teams to prepare and review coordinated drawings and section cuts.
- Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and specialists for technical clarifications and design issues.
- Support Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) coordination as needed, ensuring accurate routing within module limitations.
- Monitor installation compliance with approved drawings and applicable quality standards during site visits.
- Document coordination decisions, drawings, submissions, and site records meticulously.
- Execute other related duties as required to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering disciplines.
- Strong understanding of ACMV, Electrical, ELV, P&S, and Fire Protection systems.
- Familiarity with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to M&E services.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Revit/BIM viewing platforms.
- Experience with Civil Defence shelters or gas/blast protection systems is desirable.
- Proven experience in M&E CSD coordination with renowned Main Contractors.
- Ability to effectively coordinate multi-trade M&E works to meet operational and user requirements.
- Knowledgeable about Singapore design codes and engineering practices.
- Skilled in reading BIM models and identifying coordination challenges.
- Self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and an effective team player.
