Job Title: Manager - APAC M&A (Renewables & Energy Storage)
Location: Singapore
A growing renewable energy platform is looking to appoint a commercially driven professional to lead M&A and project divestment activities across APAC markets.
This is a front-office, deal-focused role responsible for originating buyers, managing asset sale processes, and executing transactions across renewable and BESS portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Origination & Asset Sales
- Lead end-to-end divestment of renewable and energy storage assets across various stages (development, construction, and operating)
- Originate and engage potential buyers including infrastructure investors, IPPs, and strategic players
- Build and maintain relationships with active investors across key APAC markets
Transaction Execution & Leadership
- Take ownership of transactions from initial market engagement through to signing and completion
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including financial, legal, and technical due diligence
- Lead commercial negotiations including valuation, pricing, and key transaction terms
Asset Positioning & Commercial Strategy
- Develop clear investment narratives and equity stories for each asset
- Translate technical project attributes into compelling investment propositions
- Optimise exit strategies based on market dynamics, buyer appetite, and revenue structures
Market Intelligence & Coverage
- Maintain a strong view of investor activity, pricing trends, and transaction structures
- Continuously map and track active investors across the APAC renewable energy landscape
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy M&A, project sales, investment banking, or IPP commercial roles
- Proven track record of successfully closing asset transactions (sell-side experience preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage investors and drive transactions independently
- Solid understanding of renewable energy and BESS project economics and value drivers
- Financial modelling capability required
- Exposure to markets such as Australia or Southeast Asia is advantageous
