M&A / Private Equity Associate (US Law Firm)

A leading US law firm is seeking a talented M&A / PE Associate to join its high-performing transactional team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven lawyer with strong cross-border deal experience to work on complex, multi-jurisdictional private equity and M&A transactions across Asia and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Advise on cross-border private equity investments, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures across the Asia-Pacific region
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents including SPAs, SHA, and investment agreements
• Coordinate multi-jurisdictional deals across the region

Requirements

• Excellent pedigree; LL.B. and/or LL.M. with 2–4 years PQE in M&A or private equity at a reputable firm
• Bilingual - fluent in English and Korean at business level (essential due to nature of client base)
• Solid drafting and transactional experience, ideally gained at an international or leading regional firm
• Commercial mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
