DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER,CONTRACTS (PROCUREMENT POLICY & ANALYTICS)
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Procurement Policy & Analytics team to transform the procurement processes through data analytics and drive a data-driven approach in decision making.
You will be responsible to
. Collect construction / infrastructure / procurement data (e.g. costing & measurement), leverage on appropriate data analytics tools to establish cost trends and draw insights to support decision making.
. Design and execute strategic procurement initiatives across LTA, including supply market analysis, strategy development and supplier negotiations.
. Propose and implement agile and robust measures to address identified gaps and risks to ensure sustainability of the eco-system.
. Keep abreast of the latest developments in construction laws, procurement and financial procedures to continuously review and enhance prevailing procurement processes, controls and where interventions may be required.
. Engage stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and re-engineer existing processes for a more efficient and streamlined workflow.
What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building / Quantity Surveying, IT/Computing or related discipline
. Experience in cost estimation and contract administration in engineering or construction projects would be an advantage
. Proficiency in data analytics tools would be an advantage
. Good team player and strong analytical, communication skills and written skills
