What the role is
SENIOR MANAGER, BUS PERFORMANCE & SERVICE STANDARDS
What you will be working on
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for land transport planning and operations. You will lead teams to monitor the public bus operators service performance and compliance of prescribed standards under the Bus Contracting Model as well as manage the performance of the bus services. You will also be required to supervise the quantitative analysis of performance data and exercise critical thinking to help the teams solve problems. You will drive key changes to improve the performance of the public bus network. In addition, you will work with a range of stakeholders including the public to ensure adherence to performance standards and achieve good service delivery. There will also be opportunities to be involved in a spectrum of land transport initiatives.
What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification in any discipline
. At least 8 years of working experience, preferably in the public transport or transportation industry
. Candidates must have a flair for working with numbers and large dataset
. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take initiative and lead teams to achieve results
. Highly adaptable, resourceful and able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
