[What the role is]

DEPUTY DIRECTOR, DIGITAL SERVICES & PAYMENT

[What you will be working on]

You will be at the forefront of LTA's digitalisation strategy, leading a dynamic team to modernise and transform user interfaces and experiences across LTA's digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include steering strategic planning and innovation initiatives, evaluating and adopting emerging technologies, and managing multi-million dollar ICT investments. You will oversee the project office, lead project management committees, and work closely with senior management and industry partners to identify synergistic opportunities that enhance operational efficiency through digital transformation.

As part of the ITCD management team, you will champion cost-effective solutioning through a hybrid approach of in-house development, co-development and outsourcing. You will manage both direct and indirect teams totalling over 30 staff members, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget whilst maintaining the highest standards of governance and compliance across all digital fronts.

[What we are looking for]

. Knowledge in engineering or ICT-related discipline with more than 15 years of experience in architecting, developing and operating ICT solutions, including at least 8 years in management roles

. Strong leadership skills in managing both technical and business teams, with multi-disciplinary experience in system-of-systems integration, product management, risk management and strategic planning

. Ability to engage senior management and champion technology adoption across sectors, with excellent connections across Singapore's ICT landscape

. Strong awareness of industry trends, opportunities and threats to guide sustainable ICT investments

. Good working knowledge of evolving technologies including data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, cloud solutions and agile methodology

. Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion and presentation skills

. Strong multi-sourcing and human management skills to build, lead and motivate agile performance teams

. Ability to think and analyse strategically at organisational level, with skills to break down complex problems into manageable components

. High drive, self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt quickly to new situations

. Excellent product management skills to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule
