What you will be working on
We are looking for a suitable candidate to lead a team in leading workforce development strategies to grow and sustain new capabilities as we prepare our staff for the future of work. This involves the formulation of workforce development initiatives to upskill our staff, and developing plans to prepare officers for job redesign and transitions arising from transformation and technological disruptions. The candidate will also lead the team in planning and managing employee communications and internal campaigns to enhance the employee experience. This includes conceptualising and implementing employment engagement strategies, as well as rolling out regular employee engagement surveys and following up on the results to develop action plans.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills to analyse complex issues clearly and come up with creative strategies to address them. He / she should also be a skilled communicator and be able to lead a team independently in a fast-paced environment to work on nascent challenges and strategic HR issues at the organisation level.
What we are looking for
. Tertiary qualification in any discipline. A postgrad qualification in HR related disciplines will be an advantage
. At least 6 years of experience in a spectrum of HR roles including career development and talent management, with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity
. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
. Team player with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic fast paced environment
. Self-motivated and able to work independently
. Effective in facilitating and engaging a wide spectrum of internal stakeholders
. Knowledge of policy development, workforce planning and workforce trends
. Experience in facilitating career transitions, career coaching and counselling will be a plus
