ASSISTANT MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCE (HR BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP) 6 MONTHS CONTRACT
[What you will be working on]
We are seeking an individual to support the Human Resource Business Partnership (HRBP) team in operational processes that enable the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to the HRBP function, while contributing to process improvement and digitalisation efforts across the HR Group.
The incumbent will work closely with HR Business Partners to coordinate key HR exercises, streamline work processes, and enhance the accessibility of HR resources and information.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR Business Partnership Operations
- Assist HR Business Partners in the implementation and administration of key HR processes and initiatives.
- Coordinate with business groups on HR-related matters, ensuring timely submission of information and adherence to established timelines.
- Provide administrative and operational support for organisation-wide HR exercises.
Coordinate the Performance Management Process
- Support the annual year-end performance appraisal exercise.
- Serve as the key liaison point with business groups to facilitate communications, monitor submissions, and address queries relating to the appraisal process.
- Consolidate and track performance-related information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Drive HR Process Improvement and Digitalisation
- Review, document, and digitalise HRBP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen knowledge management and ensure consistency in work practices.
- Develop and maintain templates, dashboards, and tools to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance user experience through the application of digital solutions and automation.
Collaborate Across HR Functions
- Work with colleagues across different HR teams to support cross-functional initiatives and small-scale digitalisation projects.
- Build an understanding of the broader HR ecosystem and identify opportunities to improve end-to-end HR processes.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
[What we are looking for]
- Background knowledge in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint familiarity with Power BI, automation tools, or data visualisation techniques would be advantageous.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to organise and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Resourceful, proactive, and keen to learn in a dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrates initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
