SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER (WORKPLACE DEVELOPMENT)[What you will be working on]
The Workplace Development division oversees the development, upgrade/adaptive reuse of LTA's campuses and transformation of workplaces to embrace the future of work. All campuses will be required to comply with or exceed Public Sector sustainability requirements and support LTA's Smart Campus objectives of enhanced workplace experience, energy savings, and operational efficiency.You will be an integral part of the team in delivering LTA's future workplaces, upgrading of existing workplaces and any other A&A projects involving LTA's current offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team to deliver new build, fit-out projects and upgrading of existing building including the control of delivery of the overall programme of works from inception to completion, meeting the cost, time, quality and safety objectives of the Organisation.
Take on the role of Superintending Officer's representative for assigned projects.
Plan and coordinate the procurement process of consultants and contractors.
Lead meetings with multi-Disciplinary Team Consultants, Contractors, relevant external agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery
Drive efforts to create an environmentally sustainable and healthy workplace
Work with project stakeholders to determine the needs and constraints in establishing detailed project programmes with clear delivery milestones
Manage all assigned projects from conceptual stage to completion
Prepare and put-up budgetary papers and engage approving agencies to obtain budgetary approvals
Manage project cash flows for multiple projects undertaken by the Division including reporting to Senior Management
Implement Smart workplace technologies in line with LTA's Smart Campus roadmap
Review design proposals from Contractors and Consultants in consultation with technical teams.
[What we are looking for]
Background knowledgre in Mechanical Engineering/ Engineering or any Building related discipline
Should be familiar with BIM and BCA Green Mark requirements for Buildings and Office Interiors
At least 10 years of experience in managing office new build, major A&A and fit-out projects from inception to completion. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior role.
Good verbal, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. The role will be required to handle presentations to Senior Management and internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented, strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
Meticulous, independent, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of Smart Workplace technologies, facilities management and sustainability criteria
Good knowledge of Public Sector requirements and construction related procurement will be an advantage
Certifications (Green Mark Accredited Professional, Singapore Certified Energy Manager) would be beneficial
