Low Code Engineer (Pega SSA)

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines;

• Certified Pega Senior System Architect

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Pega platform development, with demonstrated success in leading complex, enterprise-scale implementations

• Proven track record of architecting and delivering sophisticated Pega applications across multiple business domains and use cases

• Deep expertise in Pega architecture including advanced case design, class structures, data models, flows, activities, declarative processing, and integration patterns

• Advanced proficiency in Pega development tools including App Studio, Dev Studio, and comprehensive understanding of Pega Express and LSA methodologies

• Expert-level knowledge of Pega integration capabilities including REST/SOAP services, connectors, data transforms, integration patterns, and error handling strategies

• Strong expertise in Pega UI development including advanced sections, harnesses, controls, responsive design, accessibility standards, and multi-channel experiences

• Advanced knowledge of database concepts, SQL optimisation, and data modelling for high- performance Pega applications

• Comprehensive understanding of Pega security architecture including authentication mechanisms, authorisation models, encryption, and compliance requirements

• Demonstrated ability to optimise Pega application performance through rule analysis, database tuning, and adherence to Pega best practices and guardrails

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and architect scalable solutions

• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical Pega solutions and functional applications

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to engage effectively with senior executives, technical teams, and business users

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities including experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards

• Results and customer-oriented mindset with focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions that meet user needs

• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple complex priorities and deliverables simultaneously

• Experience with agile development methodologies and ability to adapt practices to organisational context

Preferred requirements:

• Advanced Pega certifications such as Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA), or Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA)

• Extensive experience with Pega Cloud services, cloud-native architectures, and deployment models

• Deep knowledge of Pega DevOps practices and tools including Jenkins, Deployment Manager, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines for Pega applications

• Experience with Pega Robotics, Pega Marketing, Pega Customer Service, or other specialised Pega modules

• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and web technologies for extending Pega functionality and developing custom components

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and their integration with Pega applications

• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their integration with Pega solutions including containerisation and microservices

• Experience with API management platforms, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns

• Deep familiarity with government systems, policies, and standards relating to digital services, data governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance

• Substantial experience in public sector case management, citizen services, or regulatory compliance domains

• Advanced knowledge of business process management (BPM) principles, methodologies, and industry standards

• Experience establishing centres of excellence or communities of practice for low code development

• Track record of thought leadership through contributions to Pega community, speaking engagements, or technical publications

• Experience with other low code platforms (OutSystems, Mendix, Microsoft Power Platform) providing broader perspective on low code development
