About the Job

• Conduct detailed on-site inspections to investigate the nature, cause, and extent of property or liability losses.

• Evaluate insurance policy coverage to determine the validity of claims and the extent of the insurer's liability.

• Negotiate fair settlements between policyholders and insurance providers based on evidence and policy terms.

• Produce comprehensive technical reports outlining findings, photographic evidence, and recommended settlement figures.

• Coordinate with third-party specialists, such as engineers or legal counsel, to validate complex technical data.

• Manage a diverse portfolio of claims from initial notification through to final resolution and payment.

Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience in loss adjusting, claims management, or a related technical surveying field.

• Robust understanding of insurance principles, policy wording, and legal liability frameworks.

• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage sensitive stakeholder interactions.
