Transportation and Delivery: Operate a company lorry (often requiring a Singapore Class 3 or 4 license) to deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to customers, including markets, shops, and hawker centres.
Loading and Unloading: Manually load and unload goods safely and efficiently, which can involve carrying heavy items (up to 25kg or more) throughout the day.
Route Planning: Plan and follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and maximize efficiency.
Inventory and Documentation: Review orders and verify invoices/delivery orders (DOs) before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and collect payments/signatures if required.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks and regular maintenance to ensure the vehicle is clean, organized, and in good working condition report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and the dispatch team to maintain good relationships and handle any issues or delays encountered during delivery.
Ad-hoc Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed, such as packing goods in the chiller room or general warehouse duties when not driving.
