LORRY DRIVER

Responsibilities:

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring proper handling and delivery according to company standards. You will support daily operations by assisting with loading, unloading, and maintaining the vehicle in good condition. Any other duties and tasks may be assigned by the Manager when required.

Job Description:

. Safely transport goods to assigned locations on time

. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage

. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes

. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule

. Perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance

. Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition

. Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations

. Assist with packing or preparation of goods when required

. Maintain delivery records and submit reports when necessary

. Coordinate with warehouse and operations team for smooth delivery

. Handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments when required

. Able to work independently and responsibly

. Willing to work overtime or on weekends when necessary

. Ensure proper documentation for deliveries and collections

. Provide good service and maintain a professional attitude

Working Area: Bedok area

Requirement:

. At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.

. Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.

. Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license or able to take Class 3 Driving License.

. Familiar driving on Singapore roads or able to use GPS

. Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.

. Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.

. Excellent customer service skills, including communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and teamwork spirit.

. Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
