Lorry Crane Operator cum Vector Control Worker/Technician

Description

• Operate lorry crane (boom truck) to transport materials, equipment, and occasionally personnel to and from various sites safely and efficiently
• Support field activations by lifting personnel and /or equipment into hard-to-reach areas using crane operations
• Load and unload cargo/personnel while ensuring safe lifting practices
• Conduct daily safety inspection and cleaning of vehicle and crane equipment
• Ensure proper maintenance of vehicle and crane equipment to ensure that safety standards are met
• Follow all road traffic, safety, and lifting regulations strictly
• Coordinate closely with ops manager and supervisors for smooth job site operations
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Attend and complete the Vector Control Worker/Technician course
• Attend other relevant courses when required
• Ensure all relevant licenses are kept valid throughout the employment period
• Assist with pest/vector control work as and when needed
• Perform ad hoc and overtime duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Valid Class 4 Singapore Driving Licence
• Valid Lorry Crane Operator Licence (WSQ Operate Lorry Crane certification)
• O levels or Equivalent
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on-site
• Willing to attend and complete the Vector Control Technician course
• Able to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Basic knowledge of vehicle and crane maintenance
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings during activations
• Prior experience in pest/vector control is an advantage but not required
