Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily courier and delivery operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality parcel delivery services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize delivery routes and schedules to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and supervise delivery personnel to ensure adherence to service standards and performance goals
- Liaise with delivery clients to meet and exceed service level agreements
- Monitor delivery KPIs including on-time rates, parcel volumes, and customer feedback, and prepare regular performance reports
- Implement operational improvements and technology solutions to enhance workflow and service quality
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules and ensure driver compliance with licensing and safety standards
- Conduct manpower planning, recruitment, and training for delivery staff to maintain a skilled and effective team
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate strategic concerns to senior management for resolution
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills to guide and motivate delivery teams
- Proficiency in logistics software and route planning tools to optimize delivery operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams
Other Information
- Salary: S$4,000 - S$6,500 per month (adjusted based on candidate and market)
