Our client is a Wholesaler Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Logistics Supervisor (Outbound Team Lead) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all outbound logistics operations and provide support to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate data in business systems, including sales orders, invoices, delivery orders, stock movements, etc.
- Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents to ensure compliance with export regulations.
- Sort and distribute shipping documents to relevant teams, including finance and sales departments.
- Monitor shipments, check error logs, and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate with different external stakeholder such as shipping companies, transport providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Review supplier, forwarder, and warehouse invoices before reporting to management.
- Participate in logistics cost negotiation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Track intercompany shipments, file and archive documents, and assist in month-end closing.
- Assist in physical stock counts at third-party warehouses and coordinate regular meetings with logistics partners.
- Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
- Min 6 years of relevant experience in logistics function.
- Familiar with SAP system will be advantageous.
