Logistics Supervisor

About the role

ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operations of our warehousing and distribution operations in the North-East Region. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of our logistics team, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimise stock shortages and surpluses

• Oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures

• Assist in performing deliveries when required

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any logistical issues or concerns

• Maintain accurate records of all logistics-related activities, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations

• Provide training and support to the logistics team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or warehousing industry

• Class 3 Driver license and Forklift license required

• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehousing practices, and transportation logistics

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

• Experience in supervising and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff

• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards

• Proficient in using logistics management software and other relevant technology
