About the role
ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operations of our warehousing and distribution operations in the North-East Region. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of our logistics team, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods and materials.
What you'll be doing
Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimise stock shortages and surpluses
Oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures
Assist in performing deliveries when required
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any logistical issues or concerns
Maintain accurate records of all logistics-related activities, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations
Provide training and support to the logistics team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or warehousing industry
Class 3 Driver license and Forklift license required
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehousing practices, and transportation logistics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
Experience in supervising and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
Proficient in using logistics management software and other relevant technology
