We are looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on Logistics & Quality Control Executive to manage our day-to-day incoming and outgoing goods.
This is a practical operations role with clear ownership of the logistics process from receiving and checking incoming goods, through quality control and packing, to arranging local and international deliveries. The role will also manage warranty returns and related logistics documentation.
Attention to detail is critical. The successful candidate should be comfortable handling industrial/technical products, identifying discrepancies or damage, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating with suppliers, couriers and freight providers.
Receive incoming goods and verify items against purchase orders, quotations and/or other relevant documentation.
Check part numbers, descriptions, quantities and other specifications to ensure the correct goods have been received.
Conduct visual quality checks and identify damaged, used, incomplete, incorrectly supplied or otherwise unacceptable goods.
Take photographs and maintain appropriate records where discrepancies or damage are identified.
Immediately flag incorrect, damaged or poor-condition items to the relevant team member or supplier.
Ensure accepted goods are properly identified, handled and stored.
Perform final checks before goods are dispatched.
Pack products appropriately and securely for local and international transportation.
Ensure the correct products, quantities and documentation are included in each shipment.
Arrange local deliveries using local drivers/couriers.
Arrange international shipments, primarily using FedEx and other approved logistics providers where required.
Monitor shipments and follow up on delivery issues, delays or exceptions.
Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including:
Commercial Invoices
Packing Lists
Delivery Notes (DN)
Courier / airway bill documentation
Other import/export documentation as required
Understand and correctly apply Incoterms when arranging shipments.
Coordinate shipping arrangements taking into consideration freight charges, duties, taxes, import requirements and responsibilities between buyer and seller.
Ensure shipment descriptions, declared values, country of origin and other customs information are accurate.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, couriers and freight providers where clarification is required for customs clearance or delivery.
Manage the physical logistics process for warranty and return cases.
Arrange collection of faulty or returned items from customers.
Inspect and record the condition of returned goods.
Ensure returned items are correctly identified and matched to the relevant warranty/return case.
Pack and arrange shipment of warranty items back to suppliers or manufacturers.
Coordinate replacement or repaired items when they are returned.
Maintain clear records and shipment tracking throughout the warranty/return process.
Maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Keep relevant shipping, QC, delivery and warranty documentation properly organised.
Track outstanding deliveries, returns and warranty shipments.
Follow up proactively with couriers, suppliers and other parties when shipments are delayed or documentation is incomplete.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient packing / goods handling area.
Identify recurring logistics or supplier quality issues and raise them to management.
Previous experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, order fulfilment or a similar role.
Experience handling international courier shipments, preferably FedEx.
Working knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices.
Familiarity with customs documentation, duties, taxes and import/export processes.
Experience preparing Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, CIPL and Delivery Notes.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when checking part numbers, quantities and product condition.
Comfortable handling and inspecting industrial, electrical, automation or technical products.
Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
Able to communicate clearly with suppliers, customers, couriers and internal team members.
Comfortable using computers, email, Excel and online courier/shipping portals.
Able to work independently and take ownership of logistics tasks from receipt through final delivery.
The right person for this position is careful, systematic and accountable.
You should be the type of person who notices when a part number does not match, packaging has been damaged, a product does not look new, quantities are incorrect, or shipping documentation does not make sense , and raises the issue before the goods are accepted or dispatched.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the physical movement of goods and ensures that:
the correct goods are received → checked → documented → packed correctly → shipped correctly → and successfully delivered.
For warranty cases, the same ownership applies from customer collection → supplier return → replacement/repair → final redelivery.
