Job Description

Department: Operations (Logistics Support)

Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing the efficient flow of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and cost optimization. This role requires strong expertise in logistics operations, advanced Excel skills,and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations Management:

- Plan, track, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery for multiple brand across different regions.

- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to analyze logistics data and optimize
operations.

- Corrdinate with transportation providers and ensure adherence to schedules and costs.

Inventory and Warehouse Management:

- Manage inventory accuracy using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of goods in warehouses.

- Collaborate with the procurement team to align stock levels with demand forecasts.

System Proficiency:

- Utilize SAP to manage supply chain processes, including order tracking, inventory control, and reporting.

- Generate detailed reports using WMS and SAP to provide insights into logistics performance.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.

- Negotiate contracts and rates to ensure cost-effective services.

- Resolve issues such as delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.

Process Improvement and Compliance:

- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce costs.

- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping documentation requirements.

- Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 2-5 years in logistics, supply chain, or related roles.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).

- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

- Knowledge of SAP for logistics and supply chain functions is preferred.

Other Skills:

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
