Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor import, export, and offshore shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, shipping regulations, and operational requirements.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, stock data, and master data information.
- Support shipment tracking, internal applications, and operational reporting activities.
- Process MUGEN workflow transactions accurately and promptly.
- Assist with process transitions, standard operating procedure (SOP) maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma qualification with at least 3 years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience.
- Experience in the chemical industry or bulk shipment operations.
- Basic knowledge of international trade practices.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and Incoterms.
- Understanding of payment terms, contract management systems, and ERP workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) and Documents Against Payment (DP) is an added advantage.
