The Logistics Officer will assist in managing the project together with the manager and supervisor.
The candidate is responsible for the coordination and completion of project on time and within scope. Help to oversee all aspects of project including setting deadlines, on site safety measures and monitoring and summarizing progress of project. Report to project manager regarding the status of project.
Job Scope:
- Executed planning and deployment for project
- Assist Supervisor to oversee on site operation
- Assisting in planning and scheduling of manpower to fulfil projects requirements
- Ensure quality of service to clients and safety onsite for various projects
- Ensure deadline of project is met
- Incident/accident reporting
- Manage warehouse operation and inventory
- Assisting in provide monthly management reports in accordance with the type and format as required
- Procurement Processing, which may include verification, preparation, monitoring, and tracking
- End-to-end material support using the Authority's IT systems and maintaining the Material Master Data
- Assist in audit.
- Logistics support. Example creating, monitoring, recording and maintaining of the Units store records in the Authority's IT systems managing Unit's physical store including the performance of stocktaking when instructed timely indent of ration and transport manpower support for Unit's events/activities and being the receiving personnel to receive goods from the Authority's contractor.
- Administrative support (e.g. photocopying, scanning of documents, data compilation and consolidation, moving/carrying of office materials)
- Administrative processing including (but not limited to) facilitation of disposal as instructed by the Units.
- Management of building and infrastructure occupied by the unit including (but not limited to) planning of trainee's accommodation.
- Escorting of Authority's contractors while in base/camp including going to guardhouse to escort Authority's contractors to the Units and out.
- Management of the conference facilities such as auditoriums or halls which includes manage and oversee the booking, scheduling, set-up of audio-visual equipment and general housekeeping for the venue.
Job requirements:
- Required to be security cleared up to CAT 2A
- Minimum ITE certification or equivalent
- Literacy in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Medically fit to perform the functions stated in the scope of work
- Preferred to have at least three years of working experience in Supply Chain or Logistics Management, with knowledge in stock management and experience in using Procurement IT Systems (e.g. SAP) optional/preferred
