Job Summary

Lead and optimize delivery operations by managing a high-performing team and streamlining logistics processes to drive efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction across Eastern Harvest Foods group of companies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of delivery personnel to ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Oversee daily delivery operations to achieve timely and efficient distribution of goods.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate staff deployment and delivery activities across multiple companies to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze logistics operations data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and logistics metrics to drive continuous enhancement of systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external logistics partners to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise delivery team members, fostering leadership and professional growth.
  • Maintain and update route plans regularly to optimize fleet utilization and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare monthly fleet management reports to track performance and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular safety toolbox meetings to enforce SOP compliance and uphold safety standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance standards in all aspects of fleet management.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proven experience in logistics or fleet operations within FMCG trading or related industries is highly preferred
  • Strong hands-on experience in fleet planning, route optimization, vehicle scheduling, and operations management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills applied to logistics challenges and operational planning
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage dynamic delivery schedules and resources
  • Highly reliable and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving work environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Proficiency in logistics and fleet management systems (e.g., ERP Navision system) is a plus

Working Hours

  • 5.5 days per week (Alternate Saturday)
  • Monday to Friday: 7am to 5pm
  • Alternate Saturday: 7am to 12 noon
