Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Coordinate transportation, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines
- Manage loading, unloading, and proper handling of goods
- Manage inventory levels, warehousing, and stock accuracy
- Monitor stock movement and coordinate with warehouse/store personnel
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation (DOs, invoices, delivery notes)
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs, and safety standards
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, transporters, and suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams on delivery matters
- Handle delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints
- Prepare logistics reports (costs, delivery performance, stock movement)
- Optimize logistics costs and improve operational efficiency
Driving & Vehicle Management
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries, collections, and errands
- Ensure goods are delivered safely, on time, and in good condition
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, oil, fuel)
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
- Schedule servicing, repairs, and inspections
- Maintain vehicle logbooks, mileage, and fuel records
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Valid driving license (appropriate class for vehicle type)
- Proven experience in logistics, delivery, or transport operations
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions
- Basic administrative and record-keeping skills
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
