Lead and optimize logistics operations by managing storage, transportation, supplier relations, inventory, and team performance to enhance cost efficiency and delivery effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and execute the storage and movement of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Negotiate contracts and shipping rates with carriers and suppliers to secure cost-effective logistics solutions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee warehouse operations to support seamless stock management
- Develop and implement efficient inbound and outbound logistics processes, including import and export activities
- Manage and train logistics staff, schedule shifts, and monitor team performance to maintain operational excellence
- Identify logistical bottlenecks and apply solutions to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
