To support company Biz Units and Affiliated Companies in areas like International Trade and Customs compliance (e.g. Import/Export rules and regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Harmonized System Code classifications etc).
Export Control/Strategic Trade Control (e.g. Strategic goods classification and screening sanction countries/entities etc).
Inventory risk management (e.g. Inspections to reduce risk on entrusted inventory).
Trade Governance (Trade & Customs): Provide support/guidance to day-to-day enquiries from Singapore Department (including Logistics Strategy Staff in Asia Pacific offices and Affiliates) as main and sub PIC.
Conduct regular Logistics Management Audits and Physical Inventory Inspection.
Support system users in AP offices (e.g. SG/MY/TH).
Support 2nd Generation system roll-out.
Conduct pre-contract check for new items and businesses for Singapore Business Departments. And support Logistics Strategy Staff if necessary.
Prepare/conduct trade governance and i-TOP system related trainings for Singapore and Asia Pacific offices staff.
Support other activities as and when required, such as Digital transformation projects, Microsoft SharePoint updating/maintenance, coordination of annual regional meetings, update of Trade and Logistics Investigation
Report an ad-hoc projects etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Min 3 - 5 years experience in Trade & Customs Governance field.
Motivated with good communication networking and presentation skill.
Trade and Customs and/or Export Control related knowledge/ experience with logistics companies preferred.
Familiarity with trading companies business schemes preferred.
Able to work under pressure preferred.
