YOUR ROLE
The incumbent will be a core member of the company's Operational Excellence (OpEx) team, directly reporting to the Operational Excellence (OpEx) Manager. His/her focus will be to lead OpEx projects that leverage on in-depth data analysis and lean principles to close operational gaps and work closely together with the rest of the transversal team to support the OpEx community in driving continuous improvement efforts.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Lead OpEx projects that leverage on in-depth data analysis and lean principles to close operational gaps and
- provide catalytic support to the efficiency across multiple sites
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to drive project development, align on expectations, and
- overcome project risks
- Manage audit of sites, provide audit reports, define action plan and monitor action plan
- Contribute to the OpEx community by sharing knowledge of best practices and new solutions, organising
- technical trainings and focus group workshops, developing team collaterals, etc.
- Vertical 1 – Build Internal OpEx Culture
- Support the roll out of an OpEx program across all logistics warehouse operations within the company, providing coaching and training to necessary stakeholders
- Support the development of a lean knowledge management framework that organises, strengthens, and diversifies the learning journey of the OpEx community in lean tools and operational excellence
- Vertical 2 – Transform Customer Journey
- Work closely with Hub / Operation Managers to identify new customer needs and develop action plans to close gaps in service levels or expectations
- Collaborate with the subject matter experts to identify implementation opportunities for new solutions or technology that would catalyse the operational excellence standards of all logistics sites
- Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Responsibilities:
- Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
- Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Degree or Masters in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business with a relevant specialization
- Awareness and understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement tools
- Strong in data crunching and analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including pivot tables)
- Good and adaptive team player with strong interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Knowledge in VBA / SQL / database management structure is not necessary but will be a plus
- Comfortable with presenting and communicating with customers and stakeholders within all levels of the organization
