Job Description
Key Logistics Activities:
- Responsible for all activities involved in the management of product movement within the supply chain; ensures delivery of the right product to the right place at the right time for the right price.
- Managing day-to-day operational of Factory Logistics physical distribution, which includes the movement and storage of Raw materials / manufactured finished goods / RMA materials, supplies and spare parts from manufacturing plants to both internal logistics sites and returns to Suppliers.
Operation Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall day-to-day warehouse and mainly focus on fulfilment / Outbound operations
- Review and implement warehouse operating procedures to ensure operations performance meets KPI and financial objectives
- Manage Factory Logistics capacity, productivity, and cost saving projects as assigned.
- Publish various management reports and KPIs for the logistics function.
Continuous Improvement
- Understand the end-to-end Supply Chain processes and proactively identify gaps and develop solutions resolving the gaps with quantified deliverables
- Assessing Automation solutions use in the industry and propose the right solutions.
- Lead and or support involves 6 Sigma, 5S program, Kaizen Projects and Just-Do-It activities within the team or cross functional teams.
Performance Management (including 3rd Party Logistics)
- Responsible for Key performance indicators management including leading 3rd Logistics Vendor management to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objective.
Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance in Environment, Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure the systems and procedures in the warehouse operation are in compliance with existing ISO & QSR Standards including FDA, GDP, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- Typically 4-5 year's relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in SAP system is highly preferred
- Prior experience in Six Sigma, Lean, 5S and continuous improvement programs are preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in logistical storage and shipping of Reagents, biological, Dangerous Goods products is a plus
- Logistics / Supply Chain consulting, digitalization solution design and implementation is a Plus.
