Our client is hiring a Logistics Assistant to support day-to-day warehouse operations in a 3PL environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inbound warehouse operations including unloading, receiving, counting, labeling, and put-away of goods.
- Carry out outbound activities such as picking, checking (QC where required), packing, and staging for dispatch.
- Use RF scanner / WMS to complete tasks accurately (strict scan compliance required).
- Support inventory control activities including location checks, replenishment, and cycle counting.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow 5S standards across work areas, aisles, and staging zones.
- Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE report hazards and near misses immediately.
- Assist with ad-hoc warehouse duties such as returns processing, repacking, and other value-added services (VAS).
Requirements:
- Candidates with 0-2 years of warehouse or logistics experience are preferred training will be provided for those without experience.
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Able to follow instructions, meet daily operational targets, and work well in a team environment.
- Possess basic English communication skills for daily instructions and handovers.
- Willing to work overtime during peak periods when required.
- Prior experience using RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Possession of a valid forklift or reach truck license is preferred.
- Experience in 3PL, e-commerce fulfilment, or retail distribution environments would be preferred.
