- Core Operational Duties
- Perform daily warehouse operations such as:
- Picking, packing and sorting of goods
- Loading and unloading of shipments
- Receiving incoming materials and verifying quantities
- Ensure accuracy of items against delivery orders / system records
- Inventory Handling & Control
- Support stock control and inventory management activities:
- Put-away of goods into designated storage locations
- Conduct cycle counts and stock-take exercises
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages
- System & Documentation
- Update Warehouse Management System (WMS) or SAP transactions:
- Goods receipt (GR) / goods issue (GI)
- Bin transfers, stock adjustments
- Maintain proper documentation:
- Delivery orders, packing lists, receiving reports
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
- Support adherence to WSH practices
- Equipment Handling
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (if certified):
- Hand pallet jack / pallet mover
- Forklift (where applicable)
- Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with:
- Supervisors and operations team
- Inventory / admin team for stock updates
- Escalate operational issues (e.g., delays, shortages, damages) promptly
- Productivity & Housekeeping
- Maintain good housekeeping (5S standards) in assigned area
- Support productivity targets (picking rate, packing rate, etc.)
- Assist in process improvements or operational changes when required
