Logistics Assistant Manager

(A) Job Description:

1) Warehouse Operations
-Manage daily inbound, outbound, receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping activities.
-Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
-Monitor warehouse space utilization and storage optimization.
-Maintain FIFO and inventory traceability standards.
-Ensure proper handling of products and warehouse safety compliance.
2) Logistics & Shipping
-Coordinate local and international shipmetns.
-Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, suppliers and customers.
-Monitor shipment schedules and delivery performance.
-Handle shipping documentation, customs, and export/import requirements.

-Resolve delivery and logistics issues promptly.
3) Team Management
-Supervise warehouse personnel and daily work allocation.
-Train and coach warehouse staff.
-Monitor term productivity and operational KPIs.
-Enforce company SOPs and disciplines.
4) System & Process Improvement
-Manage warehouse transactions within ERP/WMS systems.
-Analyze inventory and operational data using Excel and reporting tools.
-Work closely with IT team on warehouse automation projects.
-Support barcode labeling, scanning, inventory tracking, and process digitalization initiatives.
-Identify and implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

(B) Requirements:

a) Experience

-Minimum 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience.
-Minimum 2 years in supervisory or team leadership role.
-Experience in electronics, semiconductor, distribution, or trading industry preferred.
-Experience managing inventory, shipping, and warehouse operations.

b) Technical Skills (Mandatory)
-Good computer literacy is a must.
-Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-Familiar with ERP, WMS, inventory management systems, and barcode scanning solutions.
-Good understanding of database concepts, inventory transactions, and system workflows.
-Experience supporting warehouse automation or digital transformation projects is an advantage.

d) Preferred Qualifications

-Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.

-Knowledge of warehouse KPI management.

-Experience in inventory control and warehouse process improvement projects.

-Familiarity with barcode labelling, inventory tracking, and digital warehouse initiatives.
