Job Purpose
Responsible for managing warehouse operations related to light fittings, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods. Ensures inventory accuracy, timely stock movement, and maintains proper storage standards to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection
Receive deliveries of light fittings, accessories, and related materials.
Check goods against delivery orders/invoices for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
Report discrepancies or damages promptly. - Storage & Organization
Arrange and store light fittings in designated areas according to product type, size, and safety standards.
Ensure proper labeling and stock identification.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. - Inventory Management
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records.
Update stock movements in inventory system/manual records.
Monitor stock levels and alert management for replenishment. - Order Fulfillment & Dispatch
Pick, pack, and prepare light fittings for customer orders or project requirements.
Ensure accuracy in quantity and specifications before dispatch.
Coordinate with delivery drivers/logistics team for timely distribution. - Warehouse Operations
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if licensed).
Follow safety and handling procedures for fragile lighting products.
Assist in cycle counts, audits, and reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsibility.
Working Conditions
